INNOVATIONS IN FLAX GROWING
A team of scientists from the Smolensk State Agricultural Academy received a patent for a unique utility model: a high-pressure cutting turbo unit for the primary processing of flax straw. This innovative development allows for the efficient separation of fibre from the shives while simultaneously creating the necessary pressure for transport through a pneumatic system.
The main advantages of the device are:
• reduced energy costs for flax straw processing;
• the ability to eliminate the need for an additional fan;
• increased productivity of the process line;
• improved separation of flax fibers from shives.
The device allows for the processing of raw materials directly in the field, transforming production waste into valuable industrial fiber.
