UNITY AND MEMORY: THE SMOLENSK STATE AGRICULTURAL ACADEMY WROTE A "VICTORY DICTATION"
On April 24, more than 100 students, as well as faculty and staff of the Academy, joined the international historical event "Victory Dictation," dedicated to the events of the Great Patriotic War.
More than just a knowledge test, this annual event symbolizes peace and unity, reminding us that only through united efforts we can overcome any difficulties and maintain peace on our planet.
In 2026, the main theme of the campaign was the 130th anniversary of Marshal of the Soviet Union Georgy Zhukov. Some of the tasks touched on his military leadership, his key operations, and his role in the Victory.
The event began with a live broadcast from the Victory Museum in Moscow. Following a welcome speech by Alexey Solovyov, PhD in Philology, Associate Professor of the Department of Humanities and Mathematical Sciences, and detailed instructions on completing the forms by Tatyana Novikova, PhD in Philology, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Humanities and Mathematical Sciences, the participants began completing 25 tasks, which they were given 45 minutes to complete.
